Little Miss, my friend, has this cat appropriately named - Black Cat. He was a stray and she decided to take him and give him a good home. Though you can't tell from the picture ... Black Cat is a fluffy little guy and sheds enough fur to make a new cat. She had him shaved before and that was because he had a tick on his adorable little body and when a cat is that fluffy - it makes it quite difficult to see if there are any more. Several months later, Little Miss got tired of cleaning up the fur clumps (which were plentiful) so she decided to have him shaved down again.

The first time she had him shaved the only fur left was the fur on his face and some fur near his paws (they looked like little boots). His tail looked like a stick .... just like this -----> |

This time she let him have a little poof at the end of his tail. He's hilarious to look at and seems to like all the attention his furless self brings on.

This isn't cruel - so please, no emails telling me how mean it is to shave Black Cat. Goodness knows that in this awful summer heat Black Cat probably didn't miss his fur one bit. ;-) Watch this space in around October for more new pics of Black Cat. He's going to go all out for Halloween.
